About the Speakers

Stacy Sheffler, LPC (they/them)

Stacy is a licensed professional counselor in private practice in Portland, Oregon.  They received their Masters from Eastern Michigan University in 2003 and received their training and were certified by Fluence and are a Certified Psilocybin Assisted Therapy Facilitator in Oregon. Stacy specializes in working with the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Stacy offers a holistic and inclusive space for their clients to explore their inner selves and heal from within.  Stacy finds inspiration and peace in the healing properties of psilocybin. With a heart full of compassion and a mind open to endless possibilities, they continue to advocate for mental health awareness and LGBTQIATS+ rights, creating a safe and welcoming environment for all who seek healing and acceptance. They are a supervisor for associate professional counselors.

Shaina Fawn, LCSW (she/her)

Shaina is a licensed clinical social worker based out of Los Angeles, CA, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. She received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2011.  She has nearly 20 years of experience in child welfare, hospice, medical social work, and integrated care. She owns a private practice called Therapeutic Bridges, which focuses on supporting wellbeing in personal and professional spaces. She offers a variety of services, including individual therapy and mental health coaching, process groups, consultation, clinical supervision for unlicensed social workers, and workshops and training.  She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner and, most recently, became certified as a Pscilocybin Assisted Therapy Facilitator with Fluence.  She is bilingual in Spanish and specializes in working with members of the LGBTQI+ population and entertainment industry workers.  She is also co-founder of  Wellbeing in Creative Arts and Entertainment (WECA), a nonprofit that promotes trauma-informed support for the entertainment industry. She is currently working on a P.H.D. dissertation exploring the wellbeing of workers in the entertainment industry through Saybrook University.
